Pianos Bar & Grill at 36 Broad Street, is one of the oldest historical buildings in Bloomfield. In the 1920's, it was the Essex County Building and Loan Association. Then, in the 1950's, it became the Philharmonic Music Recording Studio where its basement studios recorded the likes of Frankie Valli. Sometime after, Mr. Grecco's Diner inhabited its walls. In 1981, it was dubbed The Feedbag (later it became Hathaway's Pub). It was a local hangout and eatery to Bloomfield's finest.

In the summer of 2007, owner J. Rick Hathaway, and his wife, Melissa, both appreciators of music and theatre, and piano bar enthusiasts, decided to turn Hathaway’s Pub into a local piano bar.

Pianos is open for lunch, dinner, and private parties. We feature a variety of great food and live entertainment seven days a week! Thank you for being a part of our history. Enjoy Pianos Bar & Grill!
